The Children’s Aid Society of Haldimand and Norfolk’s “Little Dreams, Big Dreams” Radiothon raises money for:
Fresh Air Fund
Provides summer camp and recreational experiences for disadvantaged children in the Haldimand and Norfolk communities. These activities include: summer camps, swimming, hockey, gymnastics, Scouts, soccer, Girl Guides, basketball, music lessons, karate, horseback riding etc. The Fresh Air Fund is supported entirely through community donations.
Two graduating high school students from each of the Norfolk and Haldimand Communities who are pursuing post secondary education in a social services field will each receive a $1,000 bursary.
A youth in care of the CAS who is pursuing a post secondary education will receive a $1,000 bursary.
We hope to raise over $10,000 through call-in donations and sponsorships. Your donation will have twice the impact since Scotiabank matches donations dollar for dollar up to $5,000!
On-site events include a variety of local bands performing outside the radio station, interviews with sponsors as well as staff and youth from your Children’s Aid Society.
Please help us to nurture the lives and dreams of children.
