Purple Ribbon
October is designated Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month. To help raise awareness of the importance of this month, The Children’s Aid Society of Haldimand & Norfolk is participating in a province wide Purple Ribbon Campaign.
During the month of October, we will be distributing Purple Ribbons in an effort to raise awareness of the prevention of child abuse and neglect and to encourage citizens in our communities to become involved in endeavours to end child abuse and neglect. This is an opportunity for the communities we serve to recognize the value of our children and the importance of childhood.
